CO-CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES


Due to the nature of the pupils- handicap, they do not excel in academic achievements.

It is the duty of the staff to train them in other fields which can be beneficial in their future lives, skills that can make them independent in future.

The school takes part and excels in extra curriculum activities namely; sports and music.

GAMES


The school participated from district to provincial level in the following;


Football
Handball
Volleyball


ATHLETICS


The school puts a lot of efforts in extra-curriculum activities. Wednesdays is set for sports activities every week. The school took part in athletics from district to provincial level and excelled.


SPECIAL OLYMPICS


The school is a member of the Special Olympics organization. 3 of our pupils participated during the provincial and national championship held in Nairobi. Swaleh Ahmed one of our pupils qualified in handball and was selected to represent the country with the Kenya Team in China. He came back with a Silver medal. The school is proud to have won the medal on behalf of the Kenyan team.
